"Whether you do it on your own, with an audio tour or a guided tour, you should certainly have a great time at the Tower of London. History history history is what this place is all about. How many times have you flown off to far flung parts of the world and then sought history. Well if you are from Britain, you have it all here. Better than anywhere.

On a guided tour, you get taken around by a real life beefeater. Ours was such a laugh - really entertaining but also interesting.

You get to see the crown jewels which is simply awe inspiring. I think we paid about £18 each to get in (2 x adults) which wasn't bad for a great afternoon. I'd recommend spending 3 hours here if you can.
