"The Mansion House in Holbeach is thought to have been built as early as 1681, although its style is that of a Queen Anne period house(1702-1714). It is best known as the birth place of Norman Angell Lane (Nobel peace prize winner of 1933)who was born in this his family home in 1872. This fine historic building was restored in 2005 to the beautiful hotel it is today. We offer a high standard of accommodation in the hotel with food, service and varied selection of beverages to match. We are conveniently situated in the centre of Holbeach Nr Spalding and centrally placed for visitors to the fens and Norfolk coast. The Hotel offers a stunning venue for a wedding, christening, anniversary or special events. We have a public bar, restaurant, fitness room and residents comfortable tv lounge.
