"I loved the old Wembley. I remember visiting it in the 60s when I was a young snapper. The attendance used to be huge, the atmosphere amazing and I admit, I never wanted them to tear the stadium down.

Thats all changed now. I've been to the new Wembley stadium and its absolutely fabulous.

Things that are better:

The views! No more being stuck behind a roof support. That was horrendous in the old stadium. somehow we accepted it.
Now there doesnt seem to be a bad seat in the house.

The toilets. Gone are the days of huge queues of men queuing to urinate in the sinks of the ladies. There are toilets everywhere.

The aisles: They're so wide, getting in and out of the stadium is a breeze and feels much safer.

The seats: So much legroom! Much more than you'd expect in a stadium.

Yep I know. The Wembley area is a bit grim, but if you get the tube to Wembley Stadium you don't even see it. Development work is underway.
