"Interesting, a double dining experience in one restaurant. An Indian lover and a Steak lover surely this place is perfection for a pre-cinema meal on date night?
This place is basically an Indian restaurant and an American bar and grill restaurant sharing one kitchen with two different menus. A nice family feel to it but lots of families making it noisy and chaotic and not really a romantic dining experience. My partner and I both decided to order from the Indian menu which I thought was quite limited, service was good although we did have to ask a couple of times for some table water. The starters came and were fine nicely cooked but not at all authentic very mild and commercialised obviously a chain and at this point I did not have high expectations for our mains. I hate generic tasting curry's and on arrival of our mains I could tell instantly that these where going to taste very generic, could be any curry from any supermarket out of any jar. To be fair because I had ordered a fish dish this was not as generic as expected although I do think I could have got the same flavour myself out of a jar at home in my pyjamas, my partners curry on the other hand was very disappointing and after both of us being on a health kick and watching every calorie this was meant to be a treat and felt like we was wasting our calorie intake. We was not offered dessert which was fine as we didn't want one but I did hear another customer with children very disappointed that they had been waiting for the dessert menu for some time. For families this place looks great and the bar and Grill menu may be much better but if you are thinking of coming here for a nice Indian then before you get to the door turn right and keep walking through the car park until you reach the main road, cross this and look for a white building with the name Sheesh Mahal above, by far the best Indian in the area! For our 2 course meal and a couple of drinks I think we paid around £30 but would have much preferred any of the other restaurants in the complex including McDonalds at more than half the cost.
Luckily our evening was saved with a few games of air hockey and a good film at the cinema!"
