"The Time Capsule Coatbridge is another good place for a family day out it has a lot to do under one roof it has the swimming pool which has a number of different areas for the kids and bigger deeper pools for the older ones a number of chutes for the kids and again bigger ones for the more daring kids and adults it's has a massive pool area so there's no chance of them getting bored easily different bits to see it has a caveman theme and a spaceship pool and mammoths and things hence the name time capsule. There's also the ice rink which I have been on a few times and you can hire ice skating boots and for small kids they give you double bladed ones that go over their shoes if they want to try it.There's a soft play area that's free to get in that up at the burger bar upstair where you can sit and overlook the swimming or the ice skating and there's also another pool that's totally separate from the fun parts for swimming lengths and maybe for lessons and things. You can purchase a family ticket for swimming and ice skating and skate hire I think this works out quite reasonable not sure how much but iam sure their website will have this info and buses run from Glasgow city centre to right outside it. A good family day out."
