"Ayr is a wee seaside town in the southwest of Scotland about 40 mins from Glasgow and easily accessible by car, bus and train a bus from Glasgow costs about £4 odds single and train about £9 return has great transport links. Its a good place to go in the summer its normally mobbed. There is the large clean beach and right next to the beach is the massive adventure play park area which will keeps the kids amused for hours and there is also a indoor soft play area called Pirate petes. Just recently a new shopping area opened up with a Debenhams, H&M, Primark, River Island and there is also the kyle centre with a good range of shops aswell. There are plenty of Hotels and B&B's in Ayr One I can personally recommend is the Station Hotel right next to the train station its a swallow hotel, the rooms are massive we paid about £60 for 1 night twin room and breakfast was served in our room the next morning really friendly helpful staff. Ayr has a really good nightlife feels like your on a wee holiday. I highly recommend Ayr as a place to visit."
