"Do stop for a pint here - I usually do. However, be aware that the public bar is a real pain to get served in. It's small and cramped, and while there's plenty of space elsewhere in the pub to drink your pint it can be extremely hard to get served in the first place.
That said, the Holkham offers some great food, too. Bar snacks come in the form of an outdoor barbecue with plenty of variety, and there are tons of tables to sit at and a really decent children's play area.
If only they'd sort out the service at the bar, the Victoria would offer a really good pub experience. As it is, your enjoyment can be seriously marred by a lacklustre performance from the bar staff, even if Holkham's range of home-brewed beers can send you into seventh heaven..."
