"Whin Hill Cider produces both apple juice and cider from their own orchard of real cider apples at Stanhoe. They offer free tasting as well as cider and juices by the pint or half-pint which can be enjoyed in a small courtyard at their retail outlet in Wells-next-the-Sea.

The cider is not sparkling, as most manufactured ciders are nowadays, and has a wonderfully crisp taste of apples. Whin Hill don't filter their apple juice and pasteurise at low temperatures, and it's this they attribute their smooth, fruity flavour to.

Whin Hill Cider can be found just off the Ark Royal car park, west of the Quay. It's clearly visible from the roadside, halfway up the hill of Stearman's Yard. It's open at weekends from 11:00 until 5:30."
