"The other takeaways are a chip shop and a Chinese takeaway there is an Indian restaurant/takeaway opening in the next couple of months.
The chip is near the top end of the high street, opposite HSBC bank.
I'm not sure of the opening times but I think they close earlier then the others.
On the menu is the usual food, such as, pie and chips, sausage and chips burgers etc.
The prices are quite cheap, under 2 pounds for a pie and chips.
The chips from here are standard chip shop chips. Big, chunky and greasy.
The Chinese takeaway is called the China Kitchen and it is in the middle of the high street opposite Spar.
It opens most days from 5 o'clock till midnight.
Sometimes it is also open in the daytime and it's always closed for Chinese New Year for a couple of weeks.
The prices are good here, 1.20 for a bag of chips and you get tons of chips in a bag. The chips are long thin ones.
Chicken fried rice is 4.50 and is enough for 2 people. Especially if you have chips with it.
The usual my friends and I have is chips and barbeque sauce which is 2.00 and gorgeous.
The staff are very nice here and you can phone an order and ten mins later its ready to be picked up, unfortunately they don't do delivery.
The new Indian restaurant was due to open at New Year but so far it still isn't.
When it is open it will be between the white hart and the white horse in the high street."
