Surfers paradise for families

"Ruda holiday park in Croyde Bay (between Saunton and woolacombe) - what a fantastic place for a family holiday! I am a keen surfer, and have the usual 2.4 kids, etc. Ruda gave me an unforgettable holiday with first class entertainment, a fantastic waterpark for the kids with slides, wave machines, etc. 2 mins walk down the road, and you are on Croyde beach - this had to be the best surfing beach I have found in this country! Only problem is it gets very crowded in the summer months - the place is full of VW campers full of surfers from all over the country. The night life in Ruda is open to all, but the bars in the village are so full of atmosphere, and everybody was so friendly. I highly recommend it for families - cant wait to stay there again."
