"Last summer I met up with a group of friends to go to Chessington World of Adventures.. I have been there a few times previously, but this was the first time I got there on my own. First up, I took the rail from Waterloo to Chessington South Station, didn't have much problem 'cept the trains were a bit late... still i made it to the theme park on time.
At chessingtons, the first place i go to is always the hocus pocus house, even though its for kids. It's right next to the zoo which features amazing animals. The first ride I went to was the Dragons Falls ride! It's situated in the Mystic East area where there is a beautiful oriental theme. Beware though you do get a little bit wet and remember to smile at the camera! Next place we went to was.. bubbleworks! It's just so dazzling there, and water squirts over you! It's basically those little round boat rides where there are large moving displays in the side. Enjoyed the ride so much that I went for a second ride! Got told off over the tannoy for splashing water though lol. I went to a few other rides such as: Black Bucaneer, The Vampire and the Runaway Train! The last area I visited was Beanoland! I am a huge fan of the beano series, so going to Chessington's just to see Beanoland is worth it for me. There was a special event going on where performers dressed up as Dennis the Menace, Gnasher and Walter! Lots of music was played and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, I think Chessington's World of Adventures is a fantastic day out, and if you ever get an opportunity to go dont miss out!! Especially fun for families with younger children :)" | |
