"Dawlish has not changed much over the years, it was my favourite holiday destination as a child and still is now. A clean beach, safe for the children. And for me some nice friendly pubs. The town itself is only small, built around a stream and the must have putting green.

During the day, the beach is the place to be, or maybe some fishing or a trip around the bay. Lunch, and then maybe a walk accross the sea wall into Dawlish Warren, as long as the tide is out or you may get a little wet !!

And then if you want to loose your holiday money even quicker than you intended there is the amusement arcades both in Dawlish itself and in Dawlish Warren.

Or if you are feeling more energytic why not take a walk just outside the town to the tennis courts and the outdoor pool.

And on an evening its back to the pubs, for great beer, a good atmosphere and a great time. Which sums up Dawlish perfectly."
