"I had the pleasure of working in this very upbeat, friendly bar. The bar staff were fantastic and would always be happy to indulge in a conversation with customers and were a fun bunch of people to be around. If your stuck for choice on drink how about letting the staff suggest a few of their favourite choice cocktails, Cheeky Vimto was a favourite. A vast amount of seating and a designated non smoking area close to the bar. Wednesday nights are quiz nights called by the landlord himself with a bar tab prize dependent on the number of entrants (which is usually over twenty teams). The menu has a good selection and the chefs are very fast and so are the waiters / waitresses. They also have a kids menu which focuses making children's meals healthy which is still appealing to them e.g. sausages, peas and swede mash and a kids drink selection including fruit juices, fruit shoots and a selection of squashes, with either water or soda water (for a regular glass this is only 60p!) The pub is right next to the shopping district of Bristol, so put your feet up and relax and let the bartender pull you another"
