"The Railway is another of my favourite pubs in the area. Its not a commercial bar nor like a country pub, its somewhere in between the two. Wooden floors wooden tables and wooden seats with cushions, and very odd photographs on the wall which have you pondering what they are actually pictures of!
Nether-the-less, the pub has a pool table, a jukebox, and a small three small TVs and a widescreen for the football and rugby. Wednesday night is pool tournament night and Thursday is quiz night for any of us out there that know a lot of trivia and fancy winning a £20 bar tab. There is also a car park out back if you fancy driving.
Fridays and Saturdays are DJ nights (one of the two is soon to be Band Night again) and usually fill up as early as 8pm so come early if you want a seat.
Drinks are cheap, entertaining atmosphere and a fantastic menu… I have to tell you about it.
A few months back the scrapped their old menu and started again. Now in the faboulous menu you can order say steak and chips, however with a slight twist, you can either order small, medium or large depending on your appetite meaning never having to compromise what you want to eat.
Perfect pub to go for typically Crawley spirit."
