"Cisswood House is in Lower Beeding, a tiny village a few minutes drive south of Horsham. The original building was built for the wife of the founder of Harrods. It is now a hotel with an excellent restaurant that is open to non-guests. There is also a gym and swimming pool

The house is set in landscaped gardens, with a lawn, rhodendrons and many ornamental plants. There is a hairdressers and beauty centre at the hotel, which is very relaxing and all the ladies there are lovely and very friendly!

When we stayed here all the staff were great, very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms are large, ours looked out over the gardens which was nice."
