"I stumbled across this fabulous fruit winery in Errol. It's a family run business by the Gillies', Ronnie and Judith. The setting is the Inchmichael Farm, which is also Gillies owned land. The winery is quaint, homely and family orientated, with the large wooden carved heads and Fort Bob, for the kids. They offer a selection of fruit wines from raspberry and strawberry to gooseberry and autumn oak. They also offer a non alcoholic elderflower wine for the kids and also locally made ice cream. You can taste all the wine before you buy, with their tasting service. Overall it's friendly and fun. The winery also offer tours during july and august, they attract a lot of foreign interest. There is also a shed company - Gillies & Mackay adjacent to the winery, which is half owned by Ronnie's brother Grant. After a visit to the winery, you can visit Errol itself and stop in at the famous old Smiddy Pub and old station craft shop.
