"This place has almost everything for everyone. From arcades to the Shanklin old village with the water gardens that leads down to the beach. There is arcades down the sea front which can got to by walking or using the 'cliff lift' that takes you right to the arcades more or less. Then theres the vast array of resturants serving everything from sea food to steaks. I have to say that the steamer inn is a personal favourite of mine. They serve burgers that are as big as your head for a good price. They have platers that are fit for a king and hey always have something good for the kids. They have live music most nights and friendley staff always wanting to help. In the town they have a vast array of good shops too. With a little safeway for those on a self catering budget."
