"If you love to shop then there is only one place to go in the West Midlands, England or even in Europe, and this is The Bullring!!! Located directly in the centre of Birmingham, England's second city, this is one of the biggest retail centres in the whole of Europe. Containing over 150 shops and dozens of high class restaurants this is definitely one of my favourite places to visit.
Looking at the Bullring from the outside it is hard not to think of it as an extremely amazing piece of architecture. Costing over £500 million to build it certainly is a majestic building. The brilliance of the outside is only beaten by its inside. The Bullring is three stories high with shops circling around. The middle has escalators and seating areas and various events and promotional offers. The Bullring will contain absolutely everything you will need for a day out shopping whether you want some new clothes for a night out; some food for a party or decorations and furniture for your house, this centre has it all. Many shops are of the same size as you would find them in the high street but some are so big that you could get lost in them. These are Debenhams, Selfridges and the Dixon's store, all of which are so big you could spend hours upon hours browsing their various products. My favourite store is Selfridges, it has a floor dedicated to its clothing lines but on the bottom ground you have a food court. This is filled with little cafes, strange and exotic foods, wines and other products. Getting to the Bullring is extremely easy; there are three main car parks as little as a 5 minute walks away from the shops. These contain over 3,000 car parking spaces. If you travel by train then New Street Station is directly connected to the Bullring, or if you come from Snow Hill Station then it is only a 5 minute walk. The opening times for the Bullring are: Monday 9.30am-8pm Tuesday 9.30am-8pm Wednesday 9.30am-8p m Thursday 9.30am-8pm Friday 9.30am-8pm Saturday 9am-8pm Sunday 11am-5pm The Bullring is an amazing shopping centre and for anyone who wants a great day out shopping then this is definitely the place for you." | |
