"We rented a caravan there and the veiw overlooked the lake ullswater and the scenery was amazing. We knew it was the most picturesque location in the Lake district bit it was absolutely amazing! There was plenty to do in the day, with walks to go on, towns and villages to enjoy and lots of relaxation. We could relax whilst the children were playing on the sites play area happily. We went on the ullswater steamers which was a nice experience and spent some time at glenridding, which is a lovely village. We also went into penrith which is a nice town with plenty to do. I would recommend Keswick as it has some museums and has other attractions aswell. The nightlife was good to, there was a bar with a games room, all the staff were friendly and, again, the kids were happy playing pool in the games room.
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience."
