"Old MacDonald's Farm, Educational and Leisure Park
This venue is situated in Brentwood Essex Junction 28 close to the M25 and London, although set in the heart of Essex Countryside near South Weald Park. The farm is situated on 16 acres of land, with perfect scenery and great activities. Here you can see some of the rarest animals including pigs, sheep, cows and even red squirrels. The red squirrels are a colony which are also breeding, these are become extremely rare to see, yet here they have lots of them.
You can pet and feed most of the animals here, from pigs, birds to chickens. Also we they educate the children regarding each animal whether it be on feeding, cleaning or general care of the animals.
There are picnic areas located all around the Farm where you can eat your food, while admiring the scenery. You can visit the Farms shop which is well stocked with souvenirs and gifts all at reasonable prices. They have gifts from books, soft toys to farm animals and hand made crafts, also many items are at low prices, so that parents do not have to spend enormous amounts.
There is an area called the Pet Station which is where the farm have unusual and rare animal which are for Sale. This is also where many of there animals are on display for the public.
They also have a Adventure Play Area this is can be found in the woodland area. This has springy animals which you can sit on and pretend to ride, also a climbing frame all of which has safety surfaces for the children's protection. This is a small adventure playground although it is very clean and tidy, also well maintained.
There is toilets surrounding the park and also Baby Changing Facilities. I found these to be perfectly adequate also very clean.
The cafeteria do freshly prepared HOT and COLD food. They do a speciality All Day Breakfast which to be honest doesn't leave much room on your plate and only costs £3.80 served all day, also you can have a tea or coffee included in the price can't be bad.
Car parking is FREE, this attraction is ideal for disabled visitors as there are no steps or stairs, and it has great hard paths and fully equipped toilets. Entrance to attractions the Cafeteria and Gift shop are through purpose built wide doors. SO there is no restrictions on where you are able to go.

All displays are included in your admission check notice board for timings. Last admissions are one hour before closing.
They are open daily except Christmas Day & Boxing Day.
This is a great day out for children as they not only get to have a fun day out but also will get to learn about different animals too.
