A refreshingly fantastic sightclovellyView/Scenery in/near Bideford, Devon, England South West Review added: 27/02/2006 04:22 By: chrisma232 (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"Clovelly is a wonderful place to visit, I think everyone should experience it.Clovelly is like an old fashioned out of time working valley. You have the donkeys carrying goods up the steep valley. If u venture all the way down (which is quite a steep and long walk)there's a pebbled beach with the most amazing waterfall which makes it well worth the journey.Theres friendly little inn's, bars and restaurants and plenty of craft shops but the main thing is deffenently this beautiful valley and harbour which hasn't been spoilt by the rush of usual life nowadays.Their are places where u can stay such as the New Inn and also the red lion.the High Street in Clovelly is steep and can be slippery - so do wear sensible footwear. The street is not suitable for wheelchairs, however the Visitor Centre, donkey stables, craft workshops and Mount Pleasant are all wheelchair accessible and make an enjoyable outing in themselves. The Cottage Tea Rooms provide a welcoming break where u just have to experience a Traditional devonshire cream tea."
