"The last time Oliver Twist appeared on our tv screens the early part was filmed in this tiny village. Most of the shops and some villagers also took part. Thwe village also has an art centre, and outdoor view to enjoy. Its a short journey by car or bus from Newcastle. The area has many caravan parks welcoming stationry and touring caravans.and campers."
