Skegness in the summerSkegnessLincolnshire, England East Midlands Review added: 02/03/2006 18:38 By: scdaniels (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"I have been to Skegness many times but always camping. This time my boyfried and I got a b&b in the centre of town. As I'm sure most of you know, the bulk of the entertainment in skegness is arcades, with so many to choose from, if you like arcades, two penny drops, bingo and such like, this will keep you entertained for hours as it is.
But my favorite place to visit is the Seal centre. This is right on the sea front and is where they rescue sick animals from the sea, nurse them back to health and release them into the wild again (where possible) it was only about £5 admission and has a feeding pen (goats etc), aligators, butterfly house, cafe and plenty more to explore, although it isn't as large as a zoo and wont take a full day. The beach is nice and sandy, but the water as with all uk resorts is COOOLD! There are plenty of souviner shops, and an indoor market. There is a coach station and a train station. Its a great place for kids (with their new indoor swimming centre too), and great if you just want an ice-cream on the beach with a good old fashioned deck chair. A perfect typical english seaside for me." | |
