Exmouth Gentle and CalmExmouthDevon, England South West Review added: 04/03/2006 19:32 By: Rincewind (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"We awoke on the first morning to a beautiful blue sky, and the first thing on the agenda after a hearty bacon and eggs in a sea front cafe, was a walk along the cliff tops with some amazing views of the coast line. Coming back along the beach eating cold ice cream on a nice warm day,we decided it was time for a quick drink ( or two ).
After that decisions had to be made, would it be the model railway or the crazy golf. I lost so crazy golf it was, we went to the railway the next day. On the evening I lost again, so it was off to the nature reserve, and I'm glad I lost because this is not to be missed, an area of country that in the evening sun can only be described as stunning, although to be honest I did not see much sign of nature, but I am told that winter is best for the bird life. The day was finished off with a good steak, a few more pints of an excellent beer and time for bed. A lovely town for a gentle relaxed hoilday, and the mini railway was great, when my better half finially let me see it." | |
