"Sometimes its nice to have a short break, for me its golf. For a change we decided to try Tenby in south west wales, a friend had mentioned a hotel that they liked and so it was off to The Marlborough House Hotel that we went.
Its only a small hotel with only six rooms not far from the beach, so I guess we were lucky to get in.
The room was nice, a good size, very clean and with en-suite.
Prices were reasonable, and the food was great, a big breakfast to set you up for the day, a mouth watering evening meal with wine and beer after a hard day on the golf course, and packed lunches were arranged for us so we did not get hungry in between. As a friend I went with is a vegetarian we were expecting the usual problems that we get but we need not have worried, nothing was too much trouble.
If I had one complaint and its only a minor one, its that there was no smoking anywhere in the building, still a quick ciggy outside looking over the beach was hardly a hardship.
A great time was had by all and next time we play in the area, we will be back again. I just hope my golf has improved by then."
