"Perhaps it is the Manchester legend of producing quality music for the last fifty years, or perhaps it is the proximity to the former best nightclub in Britain – the Haçienda – but new bars, pubs and clubs in Manchester have a lot to live up to. I am glad to say that Baa Bar on Deansgate Locks does not disappoint. Upon entry you are greeted by the sight of light bouncing off thirty odd glitter balls attached to the ceiling. There are now two bars; one upstairs, one downstairs, both selling a wide array of bottled drinks, shots and the largest selection of shooters I've ever seen. What's more, it's at a very cheap price; a quid a shooter at all times and a quid fifty for a shooter and a bottle (except at weekends).
This bar plays good funky house and old skool music at all times; it's always cheap, it's in a good location in the centre of Manchester, the bouncers are friendly and it has some great glitter balls! This is a must-go-to drinking place for anyone living in or going to Manchester."
