"The Red Lion is a really friendly pub overlooking the harbour in Newquay. It's one of the locals favourites and has a great atmosphere. Every time I go to Newquay I go there, in the summer quite a few tourists and surfers flock there for the live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.
The staff are really friendly, the food is great and you always get served really quickly (and its reasonably priced).
Every Spring the Red lion is host to Newquays ale festival and during the summer it's a lovely place to sit outside in the sun trap drinking a cold beer and soaking up the Newquay atmosphere.
The Red Lion can be found North Quay Hill – opposite the Harbour, head as if you were going to Fistral Beach and you wont miss it ;-)"
