"This camping and caravan park is a very quiet place and great if thats what you are looking for. It has a play park and a play green for the kids. It also has a site shop for all your needs.
We used it mainly as a base at night for chilling out after a busy day in near by Inverness and surounding areas. It has no clubs or pubs. Just through the woods there was a hotel which was great for a quiet drink at night. You can let the kids out of your sight all day without the worry they would disapear. The main gate is about a quater of a mile from the main road so trafic noise was nill.
It is situated on the banks of the Moray Firth. The view is spectacular. If i was without the kids i would have spent the whole week in the park. A week in a 6 berth caravan was £180.00. If caravans are not your thing you can take a tent which was £12.00 a night for a family tent and was £8.00 for a single tent per night. Nearby atractions are Inverness which has things like swimming, ten pin bowling, large parks with boating ponds, a large city centre with all the shops you can imagine. This is just 10 mins from bunchrew by car. Another good thing about Bunchrew is that the owner was a very pleasent man. If you had a problem you went to the site shop and he would be at your caravan to fix the problem within ten mins. All the site staff were on first name terms with you which i thought was a very relaxing experience when you were talking to them. Another good thing about the site was that any other people that were staying there were talking to you as if you had known them for years, which is great for me as i am very shy when it comes to speaking to people for the first time.
I would highly recommend this park for all ."
