"An active RAF base where the new Typhoon (Eurofighter) is on trial alongside the resident Tornado's but the main attraction is the museum celebrating The Battle of Britian with many static displays and the last flying Lancaster bomber and a Hurricane and a Spitfire which regularly take to the air in spectacular formation."
