"Surrounded by a 60-acre lake, Nunsmere Hall Hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility and is the epitome of an English country house. The hall reflects warmth of hospitality in an atmosphere of pure luxury for the discerning guest. The distinguished chef prepares cuisine to the highest standards, offering a superb choice of gourmet dinging, complemented by the excellent wine cellar. The crystal restaurant offers an excellent value table d'hotel luncheon menu everyday, including a traditional luncheon on Sunday. In the evening they serve a superb a la carte menu, using only the best carefully selected local fresh produce. You may also like to try the popular Two Dine for the Price of One, on a Sunday evening, when two people can enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner for only 40 quid. Booking is essential however.
Nunsmere Hall is also open daily for morning coffee, served with delicious homemade biscuits, and they serve an excellent traditional full Cheshire afternoon tea. These refreshments or the terrace menu can be enjoyed in the elegant, yet homely lounges or on the hotels south facing terrace, overlooking the stunning Italian sunken garden. However, I have unfortunately found out on a few occasions that booking is advisable, to avoid disappointment. This hotel sells great food, polite staff, and the accommodation is terrific. i suggest a visit, as you will fall in love with the place, as I did on my first visit, and have been visiting regularly ever since!"
