"What a wonderful day out this is for all the family and NOW is the time to go.
With the arrival of two new Bengal Tigers, Khali and Rhani, and loads of other baby animals being born it would be a shame to miss. Walking around the zoo provides a lot of "cute" factor for all the family and especially the children, and, should the older ones in the family get board of the walking then there is a monorail which runs across the park.
Be sure to pay a visit to the Visitors Centre which provides plenty of activities and displays for the children, take a walk around the Twilight Zone where the bats fly close to your head (not for the faint hearted!) or try the Spirit of the Jaguar exhibition sponsored by Jaguar to see these magnificent animals in a natural setting and for the really adventurous why not try out the “Keeper For A Day” offer which gives you a behind the scenes look at the day in a life of a Zoo Keeper – mucking out, feeding – its not all fun you know.
This is a great educational day out and by the end of the day even the youngest child will be naming all 500 different species of animal.
