"White Acres is a holiday park specialising in fishing, with 15 lakes and a tackle shop there is something for the beginner or experienced angler but don't be fooled, it's not all about fishing. With a wide range of activities from bowling to clay pigeon shooting there is something to keep the whole family amused. There are swimming pools, amusements, a pool room, gym, several indoor & outdoor play areas, a football pitch, crazy golf, a nature trail, a solarium, a jacuzzi and a sauna. There are several accommodation options too, from camping to lakeside lodges and caravans there is something for all budgets. There are kids clubs for every age, family entertainment every night and several options for eating out or preparing your own food at home. If you want to learn to fish you can have expert tuition or just pleasure fish all day. For the match angler there are lots to choose from with fantastic prizes and children and women are welcome to enter too. When I visited White Acres I found the advice I got in the tackle shop friendly and helpful and fished my first match all by myself which I found a big achievement, being a girl and all! I would recommend this park to anyone who themselves enjoys fishing or who would like to learn, or who has a family member who does."
