"If your feeling fit climb up Box Hill in Dorking- (you can't miss it, it's the big chalky cliff which you can see from most places) and watch the sun rise early one morning, for those who aren't, you can drive up a back road to save climbing. Well worth it for breath taking views

If you are into wild flowers, in particular orchid's then you're in for a treat between June and July as you can find with a little searching over 12 different kinds of wild orchid (no picking them though).

Spring is a beautiful time to go; you have wonderful views of Surrey's South Downs in all their glory.

There are lots of nature trails you can do, especially good if you have kids and want to get out of the house for some fresh air.

At the bottom if a café serving lots of different types of food. This place is taken over by bikers on a Sunday so if you like motor bikes then this is the day to go!

I recommend climbing Box Hill during the autumn so you can see the wonderful oranges and reds both up the hill and on the Downs which you will see.

It's a great place although I wouldn't recommend going (even by the road) if you are in a wheelchair or unstable on your feet as its very steep with uneven surfaces."
