"St.helens is a great peaceful little town situated in the north west of england, not far from busy towns such as manchester, liverpool and blackpool in all it takes about an hour to get here from these towns.
St.helens is a lot like wigan, it has loads of shops and varius activities to do. Theres a huge cineworld located in clockface with 12 screens in all. Ticket prices are £4.20 for adults and £3.20 for children,they have all the latest movie releases and show information about upcoming films. They have varius snakcs, such as ice-cream, pop corn large drinks and ofcourse pick and mix. The prices are very reasonable. at cinewrold most people tend to go on tuesday as its "bargain tuesday" were al tickets are on offer. around clockface there are many pubs, nightclubs and restaurants. One in particulr being "chicargo rock" a fancy restaurant with delicious food, a bar and a night club late at night. There are many markets around clock face like st.marys market this shopping centre has many shops like cooltrader, b&m , and varius other food and card shops. You must definetly check out the market situiated inside. The hardshaw centre is across from st.marys and has other shops such as woolworths, homebargains, adams and varius gadget shops. All at very low prices. Worth checking out if your around. Near the fast food places there is huge retail park with big shops such as aldi, peacocks, homebaragins, windsor shoes and ice-land. These much bigger than the normal market shops. If your looking for somewere to dine out there a loads of places to go i'd reccomend j.d wether spoons it is a delighful pub with a child area and is non-smoking. It serves up great food and has varius nights like currynight , steak night and sunday dinner sunday with vegetarian options and a menu just for kids its a real must! The prices are very low for such good quality and service! if you dont fancy that their are fish 'n' chipshops all over st.helens. Theres mcdonalds,kfc's and burger kings around as well. You dont have to travel far for a bowling alley as well L.a bowl is only a drive away, if you need more information about st.helens simply google st.helens! If your looking for somewere to stay then dont go any further than the hiltonhotel st.helens. This magnificent hotel will sweep you off your feet. Inside it glimmer and shines with royalty and quality. only the best guest stay here. The food is lovely and the rooms and stylish and top notch, the many staff here make you feel welcome and take care of your every needs making it a stay to remember. Theres alos travel-inns scattered around to. ACCOMMODATION If you looking to buy a house here their are lots of estate agents. Prices in St.helens are very cheap as its such a small place with not that many people living here. There a flats, semi-detached house, private rented houses.There are also huge houses currently being built in parr. With special introductry offers on them. There are lots of supermarets around st.helens a few are, Morrisons, Asda, aldi, lidyl, ice-land and waitrose. They are in close range to wherever you live in st.helens. There are local librarys, swimming baths, schools ( both primary and secondary), nurserys and other activites. I'd recommend clock facebut be sure to look around the whole of St.helens."
