"St Anthonys head is one of my favourite places. Its perfect for a Sunday afternoon walk to blow away the cobwebs. From the headland you can see St Mawes and Falmouth at either side of the entrance to the river Fal. Right at the end, where land meets sea is the St Anthony's lighthouse which has kept ships safe from harm for generations, and, an interesting fact.....filming for the kids TV show fraggle rock was done at this very lighthouse, in fact, it is Fraggle rock!! For a child of the 80's this is a must see!! There are several walks around the area which are simply a case of following where the path takes you, there is always yet another glorious view around each bend. To get here follow road signs to Portscatho or Gerrans, once here follow the signs from the village of Gerrans to St Anthony. There is ample parking."
