"I booked this hotel purely on the excellent recommendation of a work collegue. It certainly lived up to expectations - and how!
The receptionist was extremely helpful when booking over the phone and a confirmation letter came within two days!
Most importanly of all, was that everything in the hotel and room was spotlessly clean and the furnishings and furniture were of a high standard.
It had all those lovely little quality extras you only ever get at 5 star hotels, like free bottled mineral water, good quality bathroom consumables, large fluffy towels (which I did not take! lol) and magazines.
The evening meal and service were fabulous in a well decorated dining room with crisp white linen tablecloths, expensive china and an excellent wine list (being a red wine enthusiast - Even I was impressed!).The food could give a top class restaurant a run for their money!
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was clearly 100% fresh.
Nothing was too much trouble and service was discreet and helpful.
Facilities in general were excellent although I didn't use the heated outdoor pool it looked very inviting!
I stayed for two nights but wished I'd booked for longer. Sadly though my work conferecne was only for 2 days :o(
I look forward to returning later this year on my next trip.
