"My favourite aspect of the Orion cinema in Burgess Hill is its size - whilst sounding unimpressive, the intimate and, above all, quiet atmosphere afforded by the two cinema screens are a welcome change from the uncomfortable and loud settings I have become used to in multiplex city cinemas. The downside of the small cinema is the limited film choice, but if a wide-release film is not being shown one week, you can put your money on it being there the next. They also have evenings where independent or classic films are displayed. I have yet to be disappointed in their film selection.

The chairs are comfortable, the screen is large and the picture clear, surround sound effects are now in place and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Possibly most important of all is the choice of snacks offered front of house - I have been offered far less from big chain cinemas in the past! I have been enjoying regular Wednesday film viewings for months now, and I would recommend this cinema to any close by - even those futher afield have easy access, as it is only a five minute walk through town from the station!

The cinema is located on Cyprus Road in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, and is a fantastic evening out for those who can't be bothered with paying high prices for a low level of enjoyment."
