"Thorpe Park is my favourite theme park in the UK - it has been an annual trip for as long as I can remember. In the last few years, Thorpe Park and its sister park (Chessington World of Adventures) seem to have cut a deal that one park will focus on family outings, and the other on pushing the bigger and faster rides. Thorpe Park offers all sorts of thrills, its newest rides being Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Rush, Slammer and Stealth. Whilst being the more adventurous of the two parks, there are still tamer rides, as well as a mini-park with dry and wet rides for younger children.
I would whole-heartedly recommend this park as being a fantastic experience, as I have not once come home disappointed from a trip here.
Transport to Thorpe Park is fairly uncomplicated - their website (www.thorpepark.com) has detailed directions for those going by car, bus or train - access is easy no matter where you come from!
My only advice is to avoid coming on sunny weekends or school holidays, unless you are prepared to queue for up to thirty minutes for the popular attractions!
