"On a recent visit to York with my father we were walking around York's attractive city centre, throught the Shambles and down a little street called Whip-ma-whop-ma-gate. York is just full of exciting things to do. There is the Viking Museum, history museum, LOTS of shopping and markets, not to mention over 15 churches and cathedrals! There are plenty of places to eat too, from fish and chip shops to restaurants and bars there is just so much to choose from! I would recommend York for those who enjoy a great day out with plenty to do and see but not for those who mind having sore feet at the end of the day."

Yeh, York's great (I live there :P)
And there are a lot of weird street names in York. :D Most are Scandinavian in origin from when we got our butts kicked by the Vikings. :P
Speaking of their being 15 churches, I live right near 3. :o
