"This is a great village as i say because i live in it. It has a calm rural area and many shops and restaurants and opportunities to stay. Cottingham is also near Hull (15 minutes away) which is a major shopping opportunity which now houses a luxurious 4 star hotel which is fabulous as I have been there.

There are many houses at relatively cheap prices and there are many being built near the area. I am reluctant to say there are no unsavory locals at this peaceful area. With many public houses and at Christmas a fabulous Christmas light opening and general great lights that people come from far away to see. There are four public schools in the area all being a fabulous education recourse with many wonderful schools in the village and in the area.

With a friendly and working community with many local activities! A supermarket and many restaurants This Village is highly recommended!"
