"For a fun and relaxing meal, this is the place to go. The weavers mill is part of the Wacky Warehouse franchise, thus ensuring that there will be a designated area for your little ones to entertain themselves until it is time to eat. It is also a pub as well, providing very good service.

The first thing you notice as you come in the door is the interior of the restaurant, its like a set stage. There are little log cabins and huge trees overhead, the ambience is very relaxing, it's like being in a theatre. It's very surreal, there is even a small pond with water cascading down like a waterfall. The kids love it because it looks so fun and real.

Now on to the food, there is a very large range of starters, mains and desserts to choose from. The restaurant itself actually runs a promotion where you get two meals for the price of one, which is great value for money. You get to go up and order you food, instead of waiting on a waitress, although I can't fault any of their services, friendly, fun staff, who arrive propmptly with your delicious food and always with a smile. The restaurant is small child friendly aswell, offering a full kids menu and high chairs and baby changing facilitites.

I thought the food served was excellent, I had half a roast chicken, my partner had steak, which he said was cooked to perfection,our son had a kids meal and he enjoyed it a lot, the food was served promptly and we had no complaints, we both had hot fudge cake for dessert and it was amazing.

Overall I thought the restaurant was excellent, it's family friendly, it has excellent service, good clean facilities, value for money and brilliant food. We definitely recommend you go there if you are ever passing by Camperdown Park, we know we will.

Food was of a very low standard and when we complained the member of management could not care less did not offer refund or replacement until pushed quite hard by my partner. Customer service is shocking would definitely never return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone, we had wine with meal and on leaving after complaining were asked if we were planning to drive?? Cos if we were he would call police!!! Shocking!!! We were walking as staying close by. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received anywhere.

We have just been for a meal it was terrible both the service and the meal when it arrived was cold and the tables had not been cleaned i have pictures when meal did arrive we had to ask for cutlery and condiments then had to go find them for salt and pepper the manager could not care no refund was offered no one could say sorry for dely or service

we go to weavers mill for a meal every now and again and we hav never had to wait any longer than about half an hour for our food, we go as a family of 6 most of the time and order a variety of meals and always come out at the same time. its not any more expensive than any other place you go to especially if you order meals on the 2 for 1 deal. great value ok u dont get waitress service but its only a short distance to the order area, and i hav never had a problem with any meals we hav had.

Would like to concur that the Weavers offers good fare at reasonable rates. Just over £20 for tow starters, two mains and a drink is helluva reasonable. For the McDonalds afficionados amongst us, that is maybe nine pound more for a meal rather than a snack that leaves you hungry five minutes later! Don't expect five star service and food in a discount type atmosphere, great value and rarely disappointing. Would agree that staff rarely seem happy but for national minimum dealing with jumped up nobodies like the previous poster, would you be?

I would like to point out that I made this review in 2006. I believe the restaurant may have changed management since then. I will re-visit and review.

I love how the managers of these place get on and not only make up reviews, but answer genuine comments. This place is the worst restaurant in Dundee. The place was cold. We weren't greeted when we walked in. The food took an hour and a half to arrive. The food was cold. It was bad. The 'manager' argued about how long the food had taken. Stomped off in the cream puff to check how long it had taked, oh, and look, it had taken an hour and a half. All the while, we're having to go up to the bar and order very expensive drinks. Service in NON EXISTANT. The food is diabolical. The cost is through the roof. McDonald would be better. Much, much, better. AWFUL place.

We visit this place regularly and its certainly not expensive!! We get 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks for around £21!! The food is fine, nothing spectacular but good atmosphere and never had any bother!

Were we at teh same place? It was expensive, the food was freezing, it took half and hour to get it, and the service was appalling. If there's a worse restaurant in Scotland, I'd be amazed. Terrible. Go to the McDonalds across the street. Appalling.
