"Bewl Water is a reservoir just outside Lamberhurst Village - a few miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells. We visited on a Saturday morning hired bikes (you can take your own) and set off for a peaceful/leisurely bike ride around the reservoir. It's circular route is 12.5 miles but stopping in the pub (The Bull) for lunch it didn't seem like it. This is a great morning/afternoon day out for couples and families. Very few roads to cycle on and even those are lanes so very little traffic. Plenty of bird life. There is also a boat trip, walks fishing etc. When you are worn out there is a restaurant and gift shop, or take your own picnic. I can't wait to go back again"
