There's horse riding on the beaches, open fields and island treks with Island View Stables 5 minutes drive from the Bed and Breakfast. The quiet country lanes and strands are scenic in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For fishing and boat trips Streedagh Point is rich in Pollock and Mackrel or try Raugly Harbour and Mullaghmore with a wide variety of fish. From Dublin airport: head south on the M50 towards Toll Bridge turning off for the West (Lucan) after the Toll Bridge. Take the N4 for Sligo and follow the N4 to Sligo Town.
From Sligo Town: take the N15 towards Donegal passing Drumcliff and the Yeats Tavern Restaurant continuing until you see Henry's restaurant on your right. Continue for ½ mile taking the third turnoff on your left heading straight ahead through the crossroad and down a narrow road. You'll see the sea and mountains and Mount Edward Lodge on your left signposted on the main road.
From Donegal: As you arrive in Grange Village continue through the village passing the Hall, church and school on your right. Take the next right opposite Moran's Pub towards Streedagh. Continue for 2 miles until you reach the crossroad, turn left and from the crossroad you will find Mount Edward Lodge on the hill well signposted.
