Walking is popular on the Cat Bells, Maiden Moor with fells around the Newlands Valley. You can visit Ashness Bridge, Lodore Falls and Grange and the locations for Beatrix Potter.
Keswick is rich in history and offers many attractions including the Keswick Museum and Art Gallery and the Pencil Museum. The Theatre by the Lake is within easy reach.

Glendale Guest House in Keswick offers high quality accommodation with large comfortable bedrooms. Centrally heated, rooms are tastefully decorated with either en-suite or private facilities.
There are a selection of rooms available including twin with private bathroom, doubles with en-suite shower rooms, superior king size rooms and a room sleeping a family of 3 which can also be used as a twin room with private bathroom adjacent.
In the morning you can enjoy a choice of breakfast service in the dining room from a full English breakfast with Cumberland sausage to a Continental breakfast with coffee and croissant. We can cater for all tastes and diets.
If you are unsure of what to see and do during your stay in the Lake District we will be happy to help with packed lunches, maps, cycle storage and more with the perfect base for walking and discovering hat Keswick and the Northern Lake District have to offer.
