A walk to the seawall is also worth a trip - the area is a designated SSSI (site of special scientific interest) and is renowned for its bird-life so remember to bring your binoculars. At Wraxall (halfway between Kingston Seymour & Bristol) is the newly acquired National Trust property Tyntesfield House (call the National Trust for latest information). We are just 15 miles south of the city of Bristol with endless attractions such as the Cathedral, the Zoo, the SS Great Britain, The Matthew, Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Museum and the excllent @Bristol complex. From M5 Junction 20 (Clevedon/Nailsea) ...
Follow signs for the B3133 for Yatton. Follow this road through the village of Kenn. The main road bears left on top of an old railway bridge - Kingston Seymour is signposted here to the right, there is also a sign for 'Fishing Lakes'. This is Lampley Road. Follow the road over the motorway and down into the centre of the village. Take the sharp right turning into Back Lane, Bullock Farm Fishing Lakes are signposted from the village centre. Approximately half a mile further on you will see Bullocks Lane, ignore this and take the next turning on the right clearly signposted for Bullock Farm Fishing Lakes.
From M5 Junction 21 (Weston-super-Mare) ...
Follow signs for the A370 towards Congresbury and Bristol. In Congresbury, at the second set of traffic lights, turn left for the B3133, Yatton. Drive through Yatton and eventually you will come to a large pub on your left called the Bridge Inn. The road bears right on top of an old railway bridge but Kingston Seymour forks off to the left - fishing lakes are signposted, follow instructions as above.
By Train ...
We are just 2.5 miles from Yatton railway station which is on the main Paddington-Penzance line. If you are arriving by train it's probably best to pre-book a taxi to collect you as Yatton is only a small station and cabs are not always available. Try Yatton County Cars on 01934 832000 or Clevedon County Cars on 01275 343535.
By Air ...
We are a 15-20 minute drive from Bristol International Airport. Hire cars are available at the airport (we would recommend that you look into this before you travel). Checker Cars (01275 475000) are the best taxi company to use if travelling to/from the airport - approximate cost of a taxi is £22 one-way.

Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
The Six House (so named because you could milk six cows in it) and The Loose House (used for calving a cow) both have exactly the same layout comprising:
Shared entrance porch to front door entering into hallway with a lockable cupboard for outdoor clothing, boots, etc leading to shared utility room with washer/dryer and fridge which can be used to store bait (if you are a fisherman). A secure shed is also available for storage of fishing equipment. We would respectfully ask that no bait, outdoor fishing clothing or fishing gear is stored inside the cottages.
Downstairs: open plan lounge with TV/DVD, comfortable seating for five people, coffee table, dining area with dining table and five chairs; kitchen with single oven/grill, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge (not for bait please), kettle, toaster, etc; bathroom with toilet, sink and bath with shower attachment.
Upstairs: a cosy bedroom with one double and one single bed and galleried landing with a further two single beds.
Outside:
There is a shared courtyard area with picnic bench seating for each cottage. You are welcome to wander over the stile into the orchard in front of the cottages if you wish. Ample parking is available.
General:
Unfortunately we do not accept pets either in the cottages or at the lakeside, however we can provide contact details for a boarding kennel in the neighbouring village of Kenn.
We would advise that, for the benefit of all our customers and to reduce the risk of fire, our cottages are no-smoking zones - we appreciate your co-operation in this matter. If you wish to smoke outside, we would ask that you please dispose of your cigarette ends carefully.
Gas-fired central heating, electricity, hot water, bed linen and FREE FISHING are all included in the cost of your holiday.
