Built in Victorian stone, the hotel was originally a house built in 1875 for a mill owner named Aked.
The Five Rise Locks Hotel offers six double rooms, two twin-bedded rooms and one single. All nine bedrooms are different, varying in size, aspect, décor and furnishings, all with en suite bathrooms, and many with great views. All rooms have television, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, and a hair drier.
