B&B / Guest House Description
With recently refurbished rooms, Clifton Farm has 2 double rooms with en suite shower and/or bath facilities and twin room (can sleep up to 3) with private bathroom, bath and shower. All our rooms come stocked with tea trays, portable colour televisions, clock radios, electric shaver points and hairdryers.
No smoking is permitted indoors and we welcome well behaved children but unfortunately do not allow children under 5.
There is central heating throughout, and visitors can relax in their own large lounge/dining room with open fire and enjoy the view, digital colour television and DVD player, games and books. Visitors also have their own fridge and dietary needs can be catered to by prior arrangement.
For breakfast, I aim to please and use a huge variety of local and home made produce. Everything is cooked to order and you can even watch it being cooked on the range in the farmhouse kitchen. We have our own eggs and bacon, black pudding and sausages from the local butcher. Try our homemade jam, marmalade and local honey, homemade bread and Yorkshire scones with lemon curd. Vegetarians are also catered for with a big vege breakfast, freshly made quiches and baked beans. Or just ask if there is anything you can't find on our menu.
We're only 10 minutes walk from The Jolly Farmers Inn if you are looking for a place to enjoy delicious food and real ale. There are also plenty of other Inns and Restaurants I'd be happy to recommend.
If needed, we do have torches, umbrellas and maps available to borrow. Safe off road parking is available. Venture out onto the patio or garden and enjoy the scenic views of the Yorkshire countryside.
