Caravan Description

Open all year Sunnydale Farm Touring Park welcomes caravans, motor homes and tents, 40 level fully serviced pitches with 10 hardstanding. Ideal location for those catching the ferry to the IOW or France or to visit Hamble, Southampton and the New Forest.
Each pitch has an electrical hook-up, water and grey waste drain with room for parking. The smallest pitches are 150sq metres and seven super-sized pitches available on request. There is a well lit distribution road adjacent to all pitches.
New toilets and showers opened 2010 with underfloor heating, also laundry room with indoor washing up facilities.
Tesco Superstore is a 5 min drive away if you need provisions or convenience stores nearby in Netley Abbey, Butlocks Heath or Hamble also Pickwell Farm shop next door to get fresh milk, fruit and vegetables.

Local Attractions

Open all year ideal stopover for Channel Ferry or IOW, visiting Southampton Boat Show, Ikea or Cowes Week. For hikers and cyclists the park is close to the Solent Way coastal route.

Netley Abbey is a small village just a mile from the campsite on Southampton water. There's a range of shops, pubs and places to eat from Fish and Chips to Indian and Chinese. The Abbey provides a great historic interest with free entrance and open daily or the once-famous Victorian Army Hospital at the Royal Victoria Country Park where Florence Nightingale nursed the wounded soldiers. It has a cafe, adventure playground and miniature steam railway open daily during the school holidays or every week-end.

Hamble Village attracts lots of visitors at the River Hamble for Yachting but there's a great range of tea rooms, restaurants and historic pubs. Take the pink ferry to Warsash or boat trip along the river.

Southampton is Europe's busiest Gateway to the World and Cruise Liner port. There are many historic attractions including the Old Town and City Walls and the Titanic Exhibition at the Maritime Museum. At the Solent Sky Hall of Aviation you can learn all about the history of the Spitfire or go shopping at England's premier shopping centre - West Quay complex. Eat at the quality restaurants in Oxford Street or the waterfront bars at Ocean Village. There's the Beaulieu Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo, Watercress Line Steam Railway with Thomas the Tank Engine and Paultons Park with over 50 rides. Leisure World has a multiplex cinema, casino, games room and bowling facilities.

The New Forest is a new National Park in England. With lots of villages and towns you can travel round and see the famous New Forest Ponies or take the ferry and cycle round the criss-cross routes in the forest.

Portsmouth has many historical attractions including the ships of The Mary Rose and The Victory also Gunn Wharf Quay shopping Outlet is great to see or view Hampshire and Isle of Wight from the top of the Spinnaker Tower.
