Howard and Linda created Belle Vue Farm Cottages as a haven for those who are looking for that perfect break in a peaceful and restful environment in quality B&B accommodation.
Detached from the farmhouse the accommodation provides guests with their own privacy and freedom to come and go as they please.
The B&B's secluded and elevated rural location is very beautiful and special, and with it's carp fishing pond, beautiful walks and cycle routes is an ideal location for that tranquil, relaxing break.
Located in what was a deer park belonging to the Price Bishops of Durham, the picturesque scenery and panoramic view over the dale gives rise to a natural serenity. It is a perfect place to observe the abundant wildlife and watch the sunrise, sunset, and as darkness draws in on a clear night an uninterrupted view of the stars. Indeed if heaven was on earth this would be a piece of it.
One could describe Belle Vue Farm Cottages as a kind of sanctuary with an energy so beautiful you won't forget it. Somewhere to visit that is away from the hustle and bustle of town and city life, where one can quickly unwind and melt into the calm atmosphere.

Our comfortable and welcoming B&B comprises:
(a) First floor - two double en-suite rooms (one room with four-poster bed)
(b) Ground floor - two double rooms en-suite, one twin en-suite room
The twin room, with its level access, wide doors, walk in shower with seat, specialist sanitary fittings and handrails, is ideal for those who require wheelchair access or have restricted mobility.
* All rooms are en-suite, complete with TV, sofa or chairs, and tea/coffee making facilities.
* We operate a no-smoking policy in all rooms, but smoking is permitted in the grounds.
* Ground floor rooms are annexed to the breakfast room and connected by wheel chair friendly footpaths.
* Ample car parking for guests.
* Secure covered area, workshop and washing facilities for bicycles.
