There are annual public entertainment nights in Plymouth, the British Fireworks Championships with live music and fireworks over the city and Plymouth Sound. At Plymouth Hoe there are historic sites, war memorials, Sir Francis Drake statue, promenade used by the Royal Navy, Marines and Army and for funfairs and concerts. Visit Smeaton's Tower with views over Plymouth Sound or go swimming at Tinside Pool.
Take pleasure cruises around the Sound and River Tamar and visit the National Marine Aquarium with over 4000 animals. Water sports include fishing, sailing, diving, surfing and white water rafting.
Further afield there's Dartmoor National Park which is great for walking with stunning views.

You will find a room to suit your needs with standard twin, en-suite twin, en-suite double and en-suite twin/triple rooms (single occupancy available). They are all furnished to a high standard with tea and coffee making facilities, leather chairs and 22” digital flat screen TV, Freeview and radio. Hairdryer and cotton buds are provided as are iron, ironing board and WiFi access.
The twin/triple room is on the ground floor with double and single bed suitable for wheelchair access and for those that would rather not use the stairs.
For breakfast you can enjoy a delicious full English breakfast and if you are travelling early you can enjoy it in the comfort of your room. There is also a laptop in the breakfast room which can be used free of charge.
If you're not sure of what to see and do in Plymouth there's information on local activities and leisure pursuits on the rack on the first floor.
